OKX Liquidation Calculator

Pre-filled with OKX's own fee structure and funding interval. Maintenance margin is left for you to enter — it depends on your pair and position tier, and we don't guess it for you.

OKX defines liquidation directly around your maintenance margin ratio: your position gets force-reduced once your adjusted equity falls to 100% of the required maintenance margin plus applicable liquidation fees — the fee isn't a footnote, it's written into the trigger condition itself. BTC-USDT-SWAP's lowest position tier is commonly around 0.40% MMR up to 125× leverage, but every tier and every pair has its own numbers. Check yours on OKX's tiered maintenance margin rules ↗ before trusting a figure here.

OKX also charges a separate liquidation clearance fee on top of the standard liquidation taker fee, meant to cover slippage during the forced close — on some account modes this is even paid in the liquidated asset itself rather than USDT. See Liquidation price vs. bankruptcy price for how exchanges size these buffers.

Costs & Funding — OKX defaults

BTC-USDT-SWAP's lowest tier is commonly ~0.40% (up to 125×) — but this rises per tier and differs completely for altcoins. Check your pair on OKX ↗

Counted twice automatically (opening + closing).

0.05% is OKX's Level 1 (Regular) taker fee — higher VIP tiers and OKB holdings pay less. Check your own fee tier ↗

OKX triggers liquidation once equity falls to maintenance margin plus applicable liquidation fees — the fee is part of the trigger. See the guide.

Most OKX majors settle every 8h. Some pairs settle more frequently — check yours, not just this default.

Compare other leverage levels

Same maintenance margin rate, fees and funding as above. Exchanges often raise the maintenance margin rate at higher leverage tiers, so the real buffer at the high end can be smaller than shown.

Based on OKX's mark price, not the chart/last price — the two can diverge slightly.

Isolated margin only. Cross margin depends on your whole account balance and isn't modeled here.

Very large positions may be liquidated in steps (partial liquidation) above certain tiers.

Auto-deleveraging (ADL) can close a position in extreme cases regardless of the liquidation price.

Assumption: no automatic margin top-up active, and your entered rates stay constant over the holding period.
